Process of determining data required for submission

Issues

• There seems to be a broad lack of understanding or agreement about why particular data is required to be submitted

• The process of selecting data for submission needs to be more rigorous

Recommendations

• Create a process which requires justification for data requests or a “business case” would cause better coordination of data requests

• Create a joint industry government review mechanism which would benefit coordination and communication

• Industry will identify initial problem areas
